We built WhenYou to help couples strengthen their relationships through private love notes—not to collect or sell personal information. Relationship Information
To connect you with your partner and deliver the features of the app, we may store information related to your relationship, partner connection, and app preferences.
Love Notes and Messages
WhenYou stores the private love notes and messages you create so they can be delivered to your connected partner and displayed within your account. These messages are intended to remain private between you and your connected partner. We do not routinely read, review, or monitor the contents of private love notes. Authorized personnel may access stored information only when reasonably necessary to maintain, secure, troubleshoot, improve the Service, respond to customer support requests, or comply with applicable law.
Device Information
We may collect limited technical information, including: Device information Operating system version Application version Push notification token Diagnostic information related to application performance This information helps us operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
Subscription Information
Paid subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. WhenYou does not receive or store your complete payment card information. Subscription billing, payment processing, refunds, and cancellations are managed by Apple or Google under their respective terms and policies.

To operate the Service, WhenYou uses trusted third-party providers, which may include: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Amazon Cognito (user authentication) Google Cloud Firestore (data storage) Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications) Firebase Crashlytics (application crash reporting) These providers process information only as necessary to provide their respective services.

Information transmitted between your device and our services is protected using industry-standard security measures. Data Retention

When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period unless we are required or permitted by law to retain certain information.
Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your WhenYou account at any time from within the WhenYou app. Additional instructions are available at: https://www.whenyou.co/delete-account Deleting your account will remove your personal information from our systems, subject to applicable legal or operational retention requirements. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed through Apple or Google. Subscription management must be completed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Children's Privacy
WhenYou is designed for adults and individuals who meet the minimum age requirement established during account registration. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.
